Checking your sign-in.
A parent uses Homeroom with their own Canvas API token. Homeroom does not sign in to a parent's Canvas account. The vault secret canvas-api-key is not read into this page.
Sign in with an email code, then a passkey. After sign-in, set your Canvas base URL and your own Canvas API token. Kid passwords are not collected.

Canvas key stored October 2, 2026, expires December 31, 2026. Homeroom warns starting December 24, 2026.
Sign in
Email a one-time code, then add a passkey. Next time, the passkey can sign you in.
Your Canvas settings
Kid passwords are not collected. Homeroom reads Canvas with the token saved here and does not send that token back to the browser.
